Gallus announces five-colour Labelfire
Gallus is to sell a new five-colour (CMYK+white) version of its Labelfire E340 digital hybrid flexo press. This is basically just a cheaper version of the eight colour version that was launched in 2016.

Labelfireは、Gallusとその親会社である Heidelbergが、デジタル画像システムである Sambaプリントヘッドを供給する Fujifilmと共同で開発したものです。新しいバージョンは、オリジナルと同じ 1200 x 1200 dpiの画像品質を持ちますが、オレンジ、バイオレット、およびグリーンのインクはありません。当然、顧客はこの版をフル 8色版にアップグレードし、スクリーン、コールドホイルおよび追加のフレキソユニットを含むさらに魅力的なオプションを追加することができます。
The Labelfire is the result of a collaboration between Gallus and its parent company Heidelberg, together with Fujifilm, which supplied the digital imaging system, namely Samba printheads. The new version has the same 1200 x 1200 dpi image quality as the original but loses the orange, violet, and green inks. Naturally, customers will be able to upgrade this version to the full eight-colour version, and to add further embellishing options including screen, cold foil and additional flexo units.

Michael Ring, Head of Digital Solutions at Gallus, says that there are many customers that don’t need the full configuration, arguing: “This new five-color version allows them to get started in the digital arena but still provides the flexibility for expansion in the future while protecting their initial investment.”
また LabelfireをハイデルベルクのPrinectワークフローに統合できることも注目に値します。今すぐ注文することができ、納品は 4月に開始する予定です。
It’s also worth noting that the Labelfire can be integrated into Heidelberg’s Prinect workflow. It’s available to order now, with deliveries expected to start in April.
