Global Graphics Plc is voting this afternoon to change its name to Hybrid Software Group. Global Graphics Plc recently bought Hybrid Software. The group now includes Global Graphics Software, Hybrid Software, Meteor Inkjet and Xitron. ■ 私は、EFI Reggiani社の上級副社長兼ゼネラルマネージャーであるAdele Genomi氏と、パンデミック後にほとんどの国が経済開放を始めているが、サプライチェーンの不足という新たな課題を抱えている市場の動向について、興味深い会話を交わしました。
EFI社は最近、新しいプリンターHyperを発表しましたが、FespaにはこのTerra Silverテキスタイルプリンターを持ち込むことにしました。今年発表されたReggiani社の新製品については、まとめて紹介した方が意味があるので、別の記事で紹介します。
I had an interesting conversation with Adele Genomi, senior Vice President and general manager of EFI Reggiani on the trends in the market now that most countries are starting to open up their economies after the pandemic but with the new challenge of shortages in the supply chain.
EFI recently announced a new printer, the Hyper, but chose to bring this Terra Silver textile printer to Fespa. I’ll cover all the new Reggiani printers from this year in a separate story because it makes more sense to put them in context together.
■ キヤノンからの2枚の写真を紹介します。キヤノンの主なニュースは、Arizona LEDプリンタ用の新しい IJC358インクで、従来の IJC357インクよりもマットな仕上がりで、より半光沢の仕上がりになるため、顧客はこの 2つの間で選択することができます。
また、Coloradoと Fotobaユニットをインラインで組み合わせた壁紙印刷ソリューションもブースの隅に設置されていました。
Here’s two pictures from Canon. Canon’s main news is a new IJC358 ink for its Arizona LED printers, which gives a more matte finish than the existing IJC357 ink, which has more of a semi-gloss finish, so customers can choose between the two.
Naturally Canon also showed off its Colorado printer, and also had a complete wallpaper printing solution set up on the corner of the stand, which is a combination of a Colorado with a Fotoba unit inline – its quite an effective and relatively low cost way of printing short run wallpaper and Canon has had quite a lot of success with this.
■ アグファは、今年の夏に発表した3.2m幅の昇華型プリンタ「Avinci CX3200」を展示しました。アグファ社によると、成長を続けるソフトサイネージ市場に特化した製品だとのことです。
Agfa showed off this Avinci CX3200, a 3.2m wide dye sublimation printer that was announced earlier this summer. It’s aimed specifically at the soft signage market, which Agfa says is continuing to grow.
