Miyakoshi to show two updated label presses
The Japanese press manufacturer Miyakoshi is planning to show two updated versions of its label presses at this month’s Label Expo show in Brussels.
Miyakoshi has developed this MJP 13LXV UV LED label press complete with nitrogen purge.
これには、50mpmで動作する 330mm幅の UV LEDプリンターである MJP 13LXVが含まれます。京セラのプリントヘッドを使用していると思います。CMYKと 2つの白インクのオプションを使用して 1200 dpiで印刷します。窒素パージの使用により、食品のラベル付けで安全に使用できると言われています。窒素パージは、ラベル表面から酸素を追い出し、UVインクを完全に硬化させ、インクの移行のリスクを防ぎ、UVの臭いを抑制します。
This includes the MJP 13LXV, a 330mm wide UV LED printer that runs at 50mpm. I believe that it uses Kyocera printheads. It prints at 1200 dpi with CMYK and an option for two white inks. It’s said to be safe to use with food labelling thanks to the use of a nitrogen purge, which forces oxygen away from the label surface to encourage the UV inks to cure completely, preventing the risk of the inks migrating, as well as suppressing the UV odour.
また、ホットフォイルスタンピング、エンボス、ロータリーダイカット、および複数列巻き戻し機など、さまざまなモジュールを備えた半回転変換ユニットを追加するオプションもあります。
There’s also an option to add a semi-rotary converting unit with various modules available including hot foil stamping, embossing, rotary die-cutting nad multi-row rewinding machines.

The second press is the MLP 13C, a semi-rotary offset press that’s aimed at high quality labels such as food and beverage, cosmetics and wine. It boasts an automated make ready control system and repeat data management system that reduces material wastage and job changeover times. It’s a servo-driven press takes substrates up to 350mm wide and runs at 220 ipm. It takes 50 to 265gsm media and has a large repeat length of 355.6mm. There are a number of optional units, including de-gluing, cold foil, hot foil, varnishing, embossing and laminating.
