Sun Chemical to show new inks
For graphics users, Sun Chemical has added a new ink, UML, to its Streamline range of after market solvent wide format inks. Streamline UML is colour-matched to Mutoh’s UMS CMYK ink series and will be shown on a Mutoh printer. These inks are based on Sun’s existing HPQ-LO (High Print Quality – Low Odour) backbone ink chemistry platform. They have Greenguard Gold certification for indoor emissions.
グラフィックスユーザー向けには、サンケミカルは溶剤型ワイドフォーマット用のアフターマーケットインク Streamline シリーズに新しいインク「UML」を加えました。 Streamline UMLは Mutoh の UMS CMYKインクシリーズとカラーマッチングされ、Mutohプリンタに表示されます（武藤のプリンターのオペパネにこのインク名が表示されるという意味か？）これらのインクは、Sunの既存のHPQ-LO（High Print Quality – Low Odor：高画質・低臭気）技術の横展開です。このインク群は屋内排出物について Greenguard Gold 認証を取得しています。
Sun Chemical will also use the show to launch a new series of budget solvent inks, called Rapide.

On the digital textile front, Sun Chemical will show a new Sonata DTR500 ink series that has been developed for the Mimaki TS500 printer, which uses Ricoh Gen 5 printheads. Sun will also show the existing Sonata DTE, which is aimed at printers with twin Epson DX 6-7-TFP printheads and is uitable for both transfer and direct-to-fabric printing. There’s also Streamline TXT, for single Epson DX 4-5 generation printers, plus SunTex, which is aimed at production textile printers with versions for Epson and Ricoh printheads, and SunTex Encore, which is a pigment ink for both Epson and Ricoh Gen 5 printheads.

However, the most interesting aspect is the range of industrial inks that Sun Chemical will bring to Fespa, which includes SunMotion, aimed at back-lit signage and LCD displays. There’s also Nanosilver and SunTronic for printed electronics, SunHytek for automotive applications like dashboards, SunCarte for laminated plastic cards, Touchcode for printed conductors that can be embedded in packaging, and the SunPoly for high-speed screen printing applications.
