HPは、リジッドメディアにプリントできるハイブリッドラテックスプリンタの第二弾となるR1000を発表し製品系列に加えました。
HP has added a second machine to its range of hybrid latex printers that are capable of printing to rigid materials with the announcement of the R1000.
The HP R1000 is a 1.64m wide latex printer that takes rigid materials.
Essentially it’s a scaled down version of the R2000 that was launched back in May at the Fespa show and is clearly aimed at smaller print shops. It takes media up to 1.64 metres and up to 5cm thick. It can produce from 12 to 57 sqm/hr for outdoor prints with three passes and from 6.4 to 29 sqm/hr for indoor quality with six passes.

It also comes with smaller ink cartridges – three litres as opposed to the five litres of the R2000 – which presumably means that the ink will be more expensive since higher volumes generally indicate some ink savings.
またR2000の5リットルとは対照的に3リットル という、より小さなインクカートリッジで、おそらく、一般的には大容量の方がインク価格が割安なことから推察すると、やや割高なインク単価となると推察されます。
Otherwise it appears to be very similar to the R2000 with white ink and a separate overcoat and the same recirculating printheads.
